What we offer
 The two-year bilingual lower school of the Gymnasium is intended for students whose knowledge of both German and English enables them to follow lessons in either language without any problem. This department offers the same range of subjects as that of the monolingual lower school of the Gymnasium, including in-depth Latin tuition.
Mathematics, History, Geography and Religion are taught in English in accordance with the immersion principle resulting in equal amounts of German and English.
After the second class (8th grade), in other words at the end of the lower school, our students transfer to the upper school of the Gymnasium of Freies Gymnasium Zürich. For their final four years, they choose the appropriate study profile which best suits their talents.
The bilingual Gymnasium education is concluded with the Swiss Bilingual Matura which qualifies students to study at Swiss and international universities.
